Your goal is to make the world a greener place. Make your home, school, or community greener by using the information that you learned about natural resources, renewable resources, non-renewable resources, recycling, and conservation.

Things you may want to consider;

  1. Energy uses – types and how to cut back
  2. Recycling of multiple materials
  3. Transportation
  4. Use of water
  5. Food waste
  6. Location
  7. Other topics – teacher approval

MUST TURN IN:
  1. Final project can be a power point, poster/drawing, charts/graphs, and other type of work (teacher approval). I want you to be creative and tell the class how you plan to make our world GREENER.

  1. Paragraphs – Summarize your plan and describe how it will make the world greener. Example – recycling plastic drink bottles in the cafeteria to reduce the amount of waste garbage going to the local landfill.

Paragraphs must be in final copy form.

RUBRIC:

4- Had a minimum of 10 topics of discussion with detail on how to change our world.
Must be well organized with no major errors or omissions

3- Had a minimum of 7 topics of discussion with detail on how to change our world.
No major errors or omissions

2- Had 5 or 6 topics of discussion, lack of detail, late, and/or major errors or omissions.

1- Had 4 or less topics of discussion, lack of detail, late by 3 or more days, and/or major
errors or omissions.

I- Incomplete
